Welcome! My name is Laura, and I am an award-winning (and yet self-taught) graphic designer who got my start in web design and development, and currently specializes in surface design and product creation for the scrapbooking industry.
In recent years, I work mainly for the digital and paper scrapbooking industries, designing product lines under my own name (sold at The Digital Press), as well as for companies such as Echo Park Paper Company and Carta Bella Paper Company. I am also the owner of The Digital Press, which I helped found in late-2014 and have since grown into one of the premier digital scrapbooking sites on the web.
My designs tend to be bright, colorful, and fun… and can be used in the creation of scrapbooking pages (both paper & digital), photo books, and/or all sorts of hybrid paper crafting (such as invitations, baby announcements, cards, gifts, party favors, etc.).
Fun trivia? I was formerly a college soccer coach before “retiring” to work at home full-time as a graphic designer after having kids. When I’m not busy managing the day-to-day operations of my company or designing new product lines, you can find me in the Pacific Northwest where I live with my husband and two sons. We’re an active, sport-loving gang (Go Timbers! Go Thorns! Go Blazers! #RCTID) that celebrates “Donut Day” together every single Sunday morning (and yes, it’s entirely possible that our kids literally think Sunday is called “Donut Day”).
Thanks for stopping by to check out my little corner of the internet! I hope you enjoy it. Have a question? Shoot it my direction, and I’d love to hear from you!
